What a week. We spent a lot of time walking around the Bukid and Bundock or farms and mountains. I think my butt its getting bigger or my pants are getting smaller cause I'm starting to get a little claustrophobic in those things, but its ok. That's why we have Ukay-Ukay, aka thrifting.  This week was chill, we had a lot of teachings and eleven new friends. We are working hard because my comp doesn't want to close out his mission trunky so we are locked in. As for fun things that happened this week: we held a lot of goats and chickens. It was a blast-- you can literally run up to a baby goat and just pick one up and a majority of the time they are just like, "Oh hi, how are you doing?" It's a blast. Today though we went to San Fernando and we had been off the bus for like 2 minutes when some dude came up to us and asked, "Are you guys missionaries?" My comp forgot his tag, but luckily I had mine cause he was like, "What does your church believe?...

  Welp, this week was quite interesting, there's really no other way to put it. First week in the field and I feel pretty alright in the Philippines, granted I am living with three Americans that are all fluent in Tagalog and english, so as you might expect the adjustment has been pretty gentle from what I can imagine.  Tagalog is bunssss though, this language makes me want to crash out every thirty seconds. It's ok though, gift of tongues will do its thing peace. Break break the language is hard but it's coming little by little. Very little. By. Very little. We got two new pets this week which was fun. One of them was 8 fish that we put in a tank that was just outside our house. Idk how long it had been there for or whose it is but we just took it, so ya. Anddd the other pet is the chicken. It's name is Gloria. We cut her loose on the first day we got her and then she left. Then she came back, then left, then came back, then left. Gloria hasn't been seen for 3 days...
