How many rolls is it socially acceptable to take at one time? - 6 Oct 2025

Kumusta po (hello, how are you doing) everyone? Sorry for wala (no) email last week, I was busy and really just didn't feel like writing one by the time that I was able to, so I'll cover what happened in this email.

I've had the chance to try some crazy foods while I've been here. Its kinda wild but I've been enjoying it. I've eaten everything from chicken feet to some mango jello cream stuff. I can also say with full confidence that I have tried literally almost every part of the chicken aside from the head and it all tastes the exact same, the only thing that is different is the texture.

So you might be a little curious about the title. Basically, the rolls here are the best thing I have ever had (sorry Bella they might top your bread.) These things are amazing. I'm averaging about 16 of them a day and if they served them at breakfast, I would probably be averaging 24 because they are so heavenly-- I don't know what they are putting into those things.

The one other thing that I've had here that topped anything I could have imagined was a soda pop called sting, (thank you Brother Stucki for telling us about this.) This energy drink that they have is liquid gold that gets better with every sip, it's so amazing.

The new garments are fire. That's all I have to say about that.

We found a massive slug that was like the size of my hand which was sic, and there are tons of lizards and stuff all over the place which is so fun.

We haven't watched conference yet, we just have fast Sunday and then watch it the week after because of the time difference and because the translation team needs time to translate it into Tagalog. So that will be really interesting. I've heard its very good so I'm excited. It will be kinda cool because we will watch it about 4 days before my district goes to the field. It will be like a send off by the apostles and prophets so I'm hoping I can receive some inspiration on what I need to do better moving forward.

Besides those things, we are all just shot and tired, me especially. It's hard, we are going on week nine of MTC training and none of us want to be here but there are still things that we can learn so we still must put the shoulder to the wheel. Love you all, hope you're doing well, I miss the fall weather that doesn't make you feel like a walking body of water. I know I'm doing the Lords work though and I will press forward.
